How to Adopt
The first step in the process of adopting a pet from Fluffy's Friends is to complete the application at the link below. The application provides important information. Working with you, we will be able to determine if the adoption is in the cat's best interest, and the process ensures that you will find a cat well suited to your lifestyle. Please provide detailed information for all questions. We require two personal references and a vet reference.
Our adoption fees vary, but include the cost for vaccinations and other medical care, the spaying or neutering of the animal, and an adoption service charge.
Please note: We reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone. We will not adopt to persons who mislead or fail to provide accurate information on the application.
Fluffy's Friends accepts out-of-state adoptions and transportation is provided by a charity ground transport group. If an adopter wishes to fly in to pick up an adopted cat and fly home, that is always acceptable; but never as cargo. Fluffy's Friends does not fly cats as cargo under any circumstances.
Senior Cats: Seniors are often overlooked jewels. They are laid back and loving. Seniors must go to a quiet home without children. There is a special rate for senior citizens adopting a senior cat.
Kitten Policy: It is preferred that kittens (under the age of 8 months) go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
Fluffy's Friends is not a shelter with a physical location. Our cats are lodged in the homes of foster parents. Please contact us via email to make an appointment to see a particular cat.
