The Culvert Kittens

One evening while I was returning home from town, I saw a very tiny kitten scamper across the road in front of me. I stopped as quickly as I could and got out to check for the kitten. To my surprise, there were three kittens hunkered down by a culvert that passed under the road. A good Samaritan stopped and helped keep the kittens corralled while I left to fetch my rescue partner and cat-catcher extraordinaire. When we returned, all three kittens were corralled and we put them in a carrier and took them home to the rescue.
